Membership status

Paying a membership fee confers contributing (non-voting) member status. Effective (voting) members must be inviduals, and are selected by the General Assembly on a case-by-case basis. Many trade associations are taken over by special interests. Esoma has, in its founding statutes, safeguards against this.
